Supervisor Corner – August 2018

Knighted would not be the company it is today without its talented team members. Each month we are excited to proudly highlight some of our brightest and most committed Supervisors! This month, we are featuring Supervisors Jenna Crisostomo from 580 and Ricardo Calma from Cordova

How long have you been in the industry?

RC: 12 years

JC: 2 years, 6 months

What skills do you believe would be necessary to excel in this company?

RC: I don’t believe that there are necessarily any particular skills that are needed to succeed.  I believe if we simply just care; care about our performance in our job, care about our peers and the people we work with. That should be the formula to doing well.

JC: The ability to adapt to change and learn from previous mistakes.

Name two things you consider yourself to be very good at.

RC: Listening and not interrupting. Also, I think I keep a pretty level head, I don’t get too excited when things are going well and I don’t get too down when things are tough.

JC: Working with people and motivating them to improve are two things I feel I’m very strong at.

What is one non-work related goal that you would like to achieve in the next five years?

RC: With the exception of my mortgage, I would like to be debt free within the next 5 years.

JC: Go out of the country!

Tell us about your most memorable experience volunteering and/ or giving back to others.

RC: In the Bay Area, I used to be heavily involved with youth basketball back in San Francisco. I loved to see children having an opportunity to enjoy themselves through sports. I would referee games for children and see the joy on their face… always made me feel good.

JC: Serving pies at the homeless shelter. I made sure they ate a lot of pie. It was fun!

If you could witness one past or future event, what would it be?

RC: When my parents got married back in the Philippines.

JC: Whenever they invent time travel so I can do it more than once.

What was the last book you read or movie you watched that you would recommend?

RC: Song of Ice and Fire series, the source material for the TV show Game of Thrones.

JC: Harry Potter. Mischief managed…

If you had a slogan for your life, what would it be?

RC: Real G’s move in silence, like lasagna.

JC: What’s next?
