Knighted Neighbors – May 2019

Partnering with Path

Knights have recently been volunteering at PATH’s West Los Angeles facility to prepare and serve healthy meals to local veterans battling homelessness. We also bring an element of fun! Being the gamers we are, we provide and play games like Spades, Yut, and Monopoly with the vets and have a great time. Our goal is to make true connections with the homeless and show that all people matter, are not forgotten, and deserving of a home. Knighted is pleased to show its support of PATH and we can’t wait for the journey ahead!

Walk MS Sacramento 2019

With 550 locations and more than 330,000 people participating annually, Knighted gladly joined Walk MS for the fourth year in a row. Team members met on the west steps of California’s state capital in Sacramento and donned themselves in orange boas, large glasses, and more to show their support for this cause. The walk began at 9 am sharp with lively music playing for all to hear, and the team stuck together to walk just over three miles meeting again on the west steps for some more music and dancing.

New Hire Experiences

All our new hires are quickly transitioning from squires to knights when it comes to serving our local communities. Completing sixteen Knighted Neighbors events this past quarter was amazing and we couldn’t be more proud. Knights in So-Cal lent helping hands to our partners: Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, Food Share of Ventura County, and Community Action Partnership of Kern, while Knights up North served at Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, Redwood Empire Food Bank, Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano, and Open Heart Kitchen. Thank you for your support, new hires!
